Glasswork settlement (ger Hütte) was considered a separate locality, which emerged as consequence of a process in which common names (i.e. huta) gained new meaning, associated with a particular locality. Glasswork settlements were temporary settlements, very often, these were very unstable. When all local resources became exhausted (i.e. woods, sand, limestone), these settlements were moved into a new place. The result was frequent disappearing of glasswork settlements. (English)

(Polish)
